Think outside of the box.

Cliches about Saudi Arabia have persisted for a long time and still exist today. Despite efforts by the Saudi government and many Saudis to change this perception, prejudice against the country and its people can still be felt, particularly in areas such as women’s rights, tourism, and other issues where progress has been made but may not be fully recognized. This unwarranted prejudice can make it challenging for Saudis to effectively communicate the positive changes that have taken place.

However, there are ways in which Saudis are working to overcome these negative stereotypes. A video featuring Western journalists offers a glimpse into some of the changes that have taken place in Saudi society, including the progressive evolution of social norms. It is a first-hand account of the changes in Saudi Arabia, told by Saudis to the outside world.

Overall, the efforts to change these negative perceptions about Saudi Arabia continue, and the video is a valuable tool to help dispel these stereotypes and promote a more nuanced view of the country and its people.
